Adding layered value to radical innovation from another point of view
Since the development and inception of INEDIT, HUAS is a proud member of the consortium.
Originally we were invited to join the consortium because of our expertise in co-creation within Social Sciences and Humanities (SSH). Peter Meister Broekema was the coordinator for the Horizon2020 project ACCOMPLISSH, that analysed SSH co-creation in the quadruple helix and we are also leading numerous projects in rural area’s that aim for social innovation, participation and inclusion.
From our point of view, INEDIT is technology driven, with its focus on the development, integration and application of technologies.
However, we also noticed immediately that INEDIT is so much more.
It is also aiming for wider innovation, participation and inclusion. Ultimately, the INEDIT platform will empower consumers, craftsmen, designers and developers to collaboratively work together. Profit will be shared in the whole community and factories will be decentralised and provide jobs in rural regions as well, without changing the precious landscapes.
We are contributing to this, by being part of almost all the work packages as a critical friend, by supporting partners with research into the use of for example co-creation, social innovation and impact and by supporting the development of new business models and persona’s.
By doing this, we are confident to integrate the SSH perspective with all the other perspectives and add extra value to this valuable project.
